Good Morning Awesome Parents!,
I am totally amazed and grateful for how wonderful you have all been during this online learning! We have had 100% attendance most days! Thank you for your help and support! I feel for your frustration and stress as you try to supplement what I am teaching and help to make sure your second grader is online and ready for school each morning.
Please know that anything you do is fantastic. If you are ever overwhelmed- just do what you can do.
Next Wednesday, April22nd we will start our ABC countdown activities. Each day we will do an activity that coincides with a letter of the alphabet. I have included a schedule in your students new pick up packet. Many of these activities will need to be supported at home, since we can’t do them all during school time.
Also, please be aware that there will be some days that I will send your child on a virtual field trip rather than our usual learning. I want to keep the kids motivated to learn.
Such as this fun astronaut learning that Diesel’s mom shared:
I will be out front of the school on this coming Monday, April 20th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and again from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm for a supply pick up. There are some items in their bags to enable their participation during our countdown but they are theirs to keep. Please let me know if you can’t make it on Monday and we can arrange another time. If at all possible, please bring your student so that I can give them an air hug 🙂
