The next week we are out for the full week.
On December 18th we will be having our Christmas party. We will be rotating with the other 2nd grade classes so we will be starting our party at 10:00 so that we don’t run out of time. We will need parent volunteers from 10:00 til 1:00. As a thank you, we will be providing pizza for those parents who are here to help. Therefore, I will need to know if you will be planning on coming in to volunteer. We will be stringing popcorn and cranberry necklaces for the activity in our classroom.
Our homework for the three weeks in December is going to be working with high frequency words. I will post those words on Monday, Nov. 30th. They will not need to be sorted but some homework ideas for these words would include: making flash cards of the words, ABC order, marching while saying and spelling the word etc. For homework credit, please send a notebook with work completed, email me or have your child submit on the e-homework form on the blog to say they did their weekly work. I will remind you of this with the posting of the words.
