Word Study and math

Happy Friday!,
We will be starting on coin counting on Tuesday for this math unit. This can be very hard for 2nd graders if they never see coins. Please empty coin jars and identify and count the different coins with your child. This will help as we are trying to add them up.  We will soon be learning how to tell time as well. When talking about plans, bedtime etc. please help your child count minutes by 5s and understand what the time is.
