Last Day Items
Hello!,
Please make sure that our student brings a backpack on Thursday! We will be cleaning out desks and supplies so they will have things to bring home.
On Friday they will be having a furry friend picnic at lunch. The students may bring a stuffed animal to eat lunch with.
Thursday and Friday are both dress down days.

Field Day and ABC Countdown
Hello!,
On Thursday, May 24th we will be having our field day. We will be doing fun outdoor activities. Please put sunscreen on your child that morning. We plan to be outside from 9:00 til 10:30. *We will be having Otter Pops as a treat as well as POQA will be providing cotton candy! Please contact me if your child may NOT have either of these treats!!
Next week’s ABC countdown activities are as follows:
Monday- V for Video Day- we will watch a couple learning but fun videos
Tuesday- W for Watercolor Day- we will be using our watercolors for art
Wednesday- X for XRay Day- we will trace our body’s and bones on large paper
Thursday- Y for Year End Party- we will have a fun field day
Friday- Z for Zoom Home Day- our last day of school we will be zooming home
Have a wonderful weekend!

Monday is Q for Quick Day- we will see how quick we are as we complete relay races
Tuesday is R for Read A Thon
Wednesday is S for STEM activities- we will do some fun STEM activities’
Thursday is T for Talent Day- we will share our talents *if your child has a talent that they cannot do here at school, please email a video or picture of your child doing their talent
Friday is U for USA day – if your child’s last name is A to G please have them wear a red shirt, F to K please wear blue and L to Z wear white
Have a great week!

Math and book fair
We are finishing up our last math chapter, tomorrow, so there is no math homework tonight.
Beginning Wednesday we will be reviewing the second grade math curriculum to prepare for their end-of-year cumulative test. I will send some regrouping pages home so that you can go over these with your child. This is the hardest area for second graders to remember.
The school buy one, get one book fair is going on this week. This is a great chance to get books for reading for the summer!
Have a fabulous week!
