Happy Monday!,
Your student will be bringing home their word study lists today. We are having difficulties with downloading and adding the to the blogs. All groups will be doing a new list each week and tests will be on every Friday. Please read all that you can with your students and only 3 days of word study is necessary.
We are currently working on compiling and reading data, for math. Next chapter will be telling time on analog clocks. Please start working on telling time with our students. They will need to understand quarter past, quarter til, half past and a.m. and p.m.

We will be having our Valentine Party on Tuesday, Feb. 14th at 1;30. We will be having some craft activities, games and decorating cupcakes. I have all parent signatures with permission for our holiday treat. If this has changed, for your student, please let me know.
However, please do not send food/treat items in your child’s Valentines to share. This is still a school-wide rule.
As you and your child make Valentines to share, please do not address to particular classmates, but do have your child sign their names as the giver. This makes the exchange much easier! If needed, we have 9 girls and 16 boys in our class.
We will be decorating individual Valentine bags, here at school, so you will not need to make boxes at home.
Any volunteers will be greatly appreciated!

Groups A and B continue using the words posted previously.

For those thinking about Valentines- we have 25 students in our class. Nine girls and 16 boys, please have your child sign them but not address them to a specific names. This helps tremendously when it’s time to pass them out. I will post more information about our party once it is planned.
