Please just complete activities with these words like you did last week. Making flash cards, writing in sentences, jumping while saying and spelling the words etc.
Please also read at least 20 minutes as well as computer time, using either Moby Max and/or Front Row for math.

These words will not need to be sorted, but some homework ideas for these words would include: making flash cards of the words, ABC order, marching while saying and spelling the word etc. For homework credit, please send a notebook with work completed, email me or have your child submit on the e-homework form on the blog to say they did their weekly work.
We will have a test on these words on Friday.

This is a friendly reminder that tomorrow is a $1 dress down day. Please make sure that if your child dresses down, they have their dollar. It is also an early out day.
The next week we are out for the full week.
On December 18th we will be having our Christmas party. We will be rotating with the other 2nd grade classes so we will be starting our party at 10:00 so that we don’t run out of time. We will need parent volunteers from 10:00 til 1:00. As a thank you, we will be providing pizza for those parents who are here to help. Therefore, I will need to know if you will be planning on coming in to volunteer. We will be stringing popcorn and cranberry necklaces for the activity in our classroom.
Our homework for the three weeks in December is going to be working with high frequency words. I will post those words on Monday, Nov. 30th. 2nd Grade After School Cooking Club

Happy Friday!,
There will be no word study for the week of Nov. 16 to 20. We will be working here in class on ABC order and sight words.

Today I will send home 2 math sheets. One is addition and the other is subtraction. Please have your child work on the addition sheet on Monday, in preparation for our test on Tuesday and the subtraction the rest of the week, to prepare for our upcoming subtraction unit.
I greatly appreciate your help in this!
