READING

Remember to read 20 minutes a day!

(Parents, reading with your child will be extremely beneficial.)

RazKids counts toward the 20 minutes and is a great site with a variety of books.  Your child has the option to listen to the story, read and record the story, and take a quiz on what they read (level B and up).  Go to the Quest Academy Website.  Hover over Students at the top and click on Student Links.  Scroll down and click on the link that says RazKids.  Once you click on RazKids you will be taken to the website.  Once you have typed the login in the Teacher User Name spot you will find and click on your child’s name.  Your student’s login is:

Raz Kids AM login:  user name:  trichinsc
Raz Kids PM login:  user name:  trichinsd

WRITING

Please use this page to help your kiddos practice their handwriting.  Make sure to correct any reversals and that they touch the correct line when writing the letter. The best way to keep practicing without printing a lot of pages is to print one copy and put it into sheet protectors.  Then have you child use a dry erase marker to practice.   Wipe it off with a tissue and practice some more.

Please work with your kiddos on writing the numbers correctly.  We are working on them in class as well. ;)  You can place this page in a sheet protector as well to avoid printing a lot of pages.
