Supply List

Notice: The items on this list will be used during the regular school day.  They may be brought from home on a voluntary basis, otherwise, they will be furnished by the school.

Donation: Kindergarten supplies differ greatly from the traditional items sold in stores during back-to-school sales. Because of this, I need to order specific supplies that are developmentally appropriate for kindergarteners. Our class supply needs rely on parent donations to make sure our students have everything they need to be successful. Instead of you doing the shopping, I will do the shopping for you. All you need to do is pay the office a donation of $35 to Mrs. Brown’s class. If your family cannot afford $35 just donate what you can; if you can contribute more, it will be put to good use! If you cannot make any donation please contact Mrs. Brown to make arrangements. Please see below for the list of what the donation covers. The office will start collecting money on back-to-school nights, you may also pay online (make sure to put Mrs. Brown’s class as the reason). This also helps to get the needed supplies purchased and labeled before students even return to school and parents have fewer things to buy during a busy time of year.

Water Bottle: Please choose a water bottle with some kind of handle. This will allow your child to carry their water bottle to and from school without having to put it in their backpacks where it can leak and ruin library books, school work, and other important items. Please clearly label the water bottle with your child’s first and last name, that way it will get back to your child if it is found. Be sure to send it full each day, we do not have time to fill water bottles at school, nor do we have running water in our classroom.

Backpack: Full size, please!

Headphones: A sturdy pair of over-the-ear headphones. They need to be wired, no Bluetooth allowed. Please label with your child’s first and last name.
