The kids may come home with some exciting news! I am having a baby this JULY! It will not affect this years school schedule! I will be here all year! 🙂
Hey Parents, We are having our Christmas party this week on Friday. I would love to have a couple more volunteers to help out with all the crazy fun we are gonna have. All the activities are planned, it just would be nice to have a few extra hands. As of now I have 3 parents, 2 more would be great!
Please email me at twoodrow@questac.org if your interested. Thanks!
I forgot to get pictures of the kids but here is the fun things we did today for SWEDEN The kids LOVED the meatballs! and many wanted the recipe! So Click Here for the link to the recipe. I didn’t quite follow the directions, but I used all the same items. I just mixed all the items for the sauce and threw it in a crockpot. I didn’t make the meatballs, I just used frozen. It does come out very liquidy, probably because of doing it in a crockpot instead of a sauce pan. ENJOY!!! Woodrow
Parents! We are currently working on two digit subtraction. example: 56 – 38=____ It is a hard concept to regroup and subtract after doing all the addition with regrouping that we have done the last few months!
Help your kids with their homework if needed. Also, with the break coming, their little minds tend to forget it. I have prodigy set up where they should receive questions that go along with it as well! So don’t be afraid to let them play lots!
Thanks for your support in helping your child be successful!
STEM this month is a short but fun activity. We will be pretending to be elves and making “toys from trash” This means we are going to use miscellaneous items from around the house to make toys. Each student will make their own and need to supply their own items. *We are designing our projects on Thursday December 7th. We are building the projects on Wednesday December 13th. Please bring items on that day. I do not have space to store their items, so I would prefer they don’t bring them until the day of the building. (December 13th)
Hey Parent volunteers! I would love to have someone come sometime this week or next during centers from 10-11. I have some really funny christmas themed theater scripts you could read with the kids and even have them act some out if you wanted to go that far. I love to do it. BUT I have so many other things I need to do during centers, I don’t think I will have time!
