Monday- Game day (we will play games today) Tuesday– Hat day (Wear a hat to school) Wednesday- Incredible talent day (come ready to share a talent Thursday- Jump rope day (participate in a jump rope challenge) Friday- Kickball Day. (We will play kickball with all of 2nd grade)
Parents! I am sending spring pictures. If you would like to purchase them follow instructions printed inside. They ask that you return any unwanted photos to the school in 5 days. This would put us at Monday for the photos to be returned by.

STEM Challenge this month! We are making slides for our pet rocks out of cardboard paper towel and toilet rolls and scraps of cardboard pieces for a base. Bring those as you have them and I will stock pile! We will collect until next week on Wednesday April 26th.
YAY for SECOND GRADE! To celebrate our last weeks in second grade, we are doing an A-Z count down. This starts this Friday and will continue till the last day of school! Can you believe it is almost here??? Here is some of the upcoming events! 21- A is for Art 24- B is for Baby Picture- Bring a baby picture to show your friends (please write name on back) we are gonna play a game! 25-C is for Critter – We will have scales and Tails bringing animals to show 26- D is for Dancing – We will do dance time in class 27- E is for Experiment – we will do a fun experiment in class 28 – F is for Fun in the sun – we will have an outside lesson!
We will continue the Alphabet as the weeks go on! I will post the week prior on friday! Let’s have an amazing finish to second grade!
The kids filled their marble jar and earned a PICTURE PET DAY! TOMORROW, Thursday April 20th the students may bring a PICTURE of their pet to share. No live animals please! If you don’t have a physical copy, you are welcome to email me one at twoodrow@questac.org. I will projected it on the screen for them to share!

Pet rocks!! We are going to make pet rocks in class on FRIDAY! Please have your student bring 1 rock to paint and make their own! Student may bring more than one to share with a class member who may have forgotten.
