Homework

I have many students who are doing great at completing their homework! Others who aren’t as great at it! Parents and students homework is so important for your child’s learning. Students are being graded in citizenship under responsibility for doing every nights homework. This is a habit that students should learn to be responsible for now, so that our students are college bound! Its never to early to start preparing. 🙂

Artifacts for Tomorrows Lesson!

Parents and Students!
We are going to be talking about our ancestors! I have invited all students to bring an artifact to share with the class that will tell us about their family history. We will share these at the end of the day and students have been told to keep those items in their backpack until we discuss the topic.
*If items are of high value, you may email me a picture, or have the student bring a picture of the item so they can still share.
The students may bring a picture, small item, story, etc. If the item has a story to go with it, I would love for them to bring it to share. Please limit children to one item and/or one story. We wont have time for student’s to share more than that.
I am so excited to learn more about our class!

Homework Tonight

Tonights homework consists of printing and cutting their word sorts (found on homework tab) and completing the e-submission tuesday night worksheet. This includes 20 minutes of reading nightly and is recorded in the e-submission. I aslo am sending home a Math worksheet, that is review of todays lesson that will be in place of the online math homework.  Have students complete and turn in by friday!
Also, this week is the first week for students to play “homeworkopoly”. They must have all homework submitted to me by friday morning in order to play that week! I would like all students to be able to play, so please help your child complete their homework.
