We are excited to celebrate Quest Academy’s 10^th Anniversary during our upcoming Carnival and Food Truck Event on Friday, May 18^th.  We need your help to make this a fun, memorable event.  This months STEM Challenge is making a  solar oven! In order to do this we need a few things. 
We will need
*6 pizza boxes

We will be making our solar ovens on May 10, but cooking and eating on May 17th.

4/30-5/4
G-Game Day. We’ll play board games during the day.
H-Hat day. Wear a hat to school!
I-Incredible Talent Day. Come prepared to share a talent with the class.
J-Jump Rope Day. Participate in a jump rope challenge.
K-Kickball Day. We will play kickball with all of 2nd Grade!

We are going to do an in school field trip on April 24th! We have a group called Scales and Tales coming in to show us some cool animals! Please sign the following form for students to participate in the days activities. There will be no need for parent volunteers.

We are doing a STEM challenge next week, that will require cardboard scrapes, and paper towel and toilet paper rolls! Please start collecting them now! We will do the project on Thursday next week!

Tomorrow is spring pictures! Students may wear dress down for the spring pictures.

We are going to write letters to the Air Force training center in Texas. We would love to also include some treats, snacks, crossword puzzles, and word search books. Feel free to send any items with your child to school to help out our troops and let them know how much we appreciate what they do! 
We will need all donated supplies by April 18th.

Our class filled their marble jar! The students have voted to do a class show and tell. Students may bring 1 item or picture of an item to show and tell on FRIDAY April 13th. Parents you may send a digital picture, if that is easier.
