Our classroom needs a few supplies. Some of you mentioned bringing in more during the middle of the year based on what we needed. Here it is!
Tissue paper (tis the season!) regular copy paper
*Plus, some students white board markers are out and I am out of extras. Please ask your student if they are out or low so you can bring them a couple to finish out the year. We use our white board markers daily and they just aren’t lasting us all year! Here are the students I know who need more: Aiden Alex Abby Kaleb Katelynn Sydney Jackson
Homework Tonight and this week: Student’s should do Tuesday nights homework like normal and the rest of the week follows as normal. Math homework this week is on Front Row assignment #09!
Friday Dress Down: 2nd grade won in the most box tops earned this quarter! We received playground balls and a free day of dress down! We chose to make it Friday January 22nd! We are gonna make it a pajama day! Students may wear their pajamas or casual clothes for dress down with no charge! GOOD JOB 2ND GRADE!

Community Service Project: We are doing an ongoing service project trying to collect soda cans! We will be collecting for the next few months and will be working towards earning enough cans to cash in for money to buy a tree for our school! *Cans must be smashed when brought in please!
Valentines party! We will be having a Valentines party on Friday, February 12th from 1:40-3:00. I have one parent working on an art project, but we will need more volunteers and maybe some other activities. I was thinking we could do a couple different activities and have the students rotate. Please email me with ideas, or help that you can provide! (twoodrow@questac.org) Information on Valentines boxes and Valentines themselves will come later, but please note that we do not allow treats or food of any sort for Valentines. This is school policy. Other small items such as pencils, prizes, erasers, etc. are perfectly expectable. * I will send out another announcement closer to valentines with more detailed information.
Students are required to do their normal WTW, READING, and MATH this week excluding Thursday nights homework. There is no homework due thursday night because of no school friday. This weeks Math is on FRONTROW. Students must log in with first and last name Class Code: dmbrye Select MATH upon logging in. On the following screen you will see a choice that says ASSIGNMENTS on the right hand side. below will be assignment that says (assignment #85) Click and complete the questions. For further practice, students may also do prodigy or front row adaptive practice math facts.

I hope everyone enjoyed their long break! We are jumping right back into things, including homework! Don’t forget to complete your nightly WTW Sorts and reading. For math homework, students are asked to complete 2 nights of Prodigy for 10+ minutes. Students have been shown how to do the prodigy homework, and should be able to show you. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to email me!
The only homework I want students to do is read! Please do the regular 20 minutes of reading nightly! Also, when we get back from Winter break, students will have DIBBLES TESTING.This is a reading test. Please have students read over the break for extra practice.
Here is the Art Project we plan to do for the Christmas party! We need supplies for 130students

other foam stickers

Small Ribbon
Or other small things students can glue to project
*The party is friday so please have supplies here no later than Thursday, so I know if I need to go buy more. * We also could use more volunteers, as of now I only have 2 parents.
