Tomorrow —Friday is a Dollar Dress Down Day. All proceeds will go to help the Angel Tree in the Q2 building. You can also Stop by the tree in Q2 if you would like to take a tag and buy for a child in need. 

(Student participation in dollar dress down is optional. Students are welcome to wear a Quest Spirit shirt with uniform pants or traditional uniforms).

We are having a yearbook cover contest for our yearbook this year. We will have one yearbook for the elementary school, and one for the Jr High school. All entries must be done by the student and submitted by close of business on Thursday Nov 21st.  We will choose a winner and forward the info to Bell Photography. 

Winners will have to be chosen before we leave for Thanksgiving.  The student with the winning photo will also be given a free yearbook this year.

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held next week on 

Tuesday, November 5 and Thursday, November 7.

4th Grade Halloween Party is on Thursday, October 31st.
This is what our day will look like:

The Halloween Parade will start at 9:00 am, and parents are welcome to come and watch in the Q2 gym. Our class will walk the halls of Q1 and Q2 in costumes. Students will wear their Halloween costumes to school!  Please remember NO heavy face make-up, masks, blood, or weapons…I need to be able to recognize the kiddos. This school policy will be strictly enforced.
The classroom party will start at app. 10:00 and last until 11:40 (when the students go to recess and lunch). In fourth grade we combine our parties. I have my room of kids for 20 mins, then they are rotating into the other 4th Grade teachers rooms for the rest of the time.  I don’t need parent volunteers for this party BUT you are always welcome to come and move with your child into different rooms for the duration of the party.  Reminder it is an early out day-1:00 dismissal. When the kids come back from lunch at 12:35 we will be doing a short activity then cleaning up for the day.

We have dress down day tomorrow Friday Oct 11th for our canned food drive. Instead of dollars, students are to bring 3 or more canned food items. We also have a canned food dress down day next Tuesday, October 15th and Friday, October 25th. 

Bring those cans!!!
