I’d like to say “Congratulations!” to my 9th-grade class! They have earned themselves a Game Day in my class! Their Game Day took place today (Tuesday, February 10th). As a result, their Spelling Test has been pushed back to Thursday.
For those of you who may not know or who have forgotten, here are the logistics:
Each of my classes has an opportunity to earn five points per day.
I write “GAMES” up on the board each day, and each letter is worth one point.
Letters (and points) get erased when classes are not following Classroom Expectations.
I keep a running total of points for each class behind my desk, and when a class earns 100 points, they get a Game Day!
