Uniform Reminder

Parents this came to the teachers from Dr. Dave. I have noticed some lax in clothing in our class. I need to be better at addressing it. I will from today forward. This is what Dr. Dave and other administrators have noticed in students throughout the school.

We need your assistance to ensure consistency with uniform compliance–especially with Spring clothing coming back. As teachers, you are usually the first to see your students and to determine if their clothing is compliant. Things we are noticing:

1. Some students are coming to school in black pants. Remember, students are allowed to wear navy or khaki bottoms only.
2. Girls are wearing stretch pants. Jeggings are okay as long as they have pockets.
3. Students are showing too much leg. Skirts and shorts should be no shorter than 2 inches above the knee cap.
4. Students are wearing Crocs. Our policy states that shoes must be closed-toe and closed-heel. Crocs do not fit that description.
5. Socks should be red, white, or blue. Obviously, if socks are hidden, we aren’t going to ask students to show us their socks.
6. Students are wearing Jackets and hoodies in class that are not Quest apparel. Those type of hoodies and jackets can be worn during lunch time and recess only.

We will address these concerns with your students and have them call home at the beginning of the day if different clothing is necessary to comply with our policies. Thanks so much.
Dr. Dave
