Week of April 8th-12th

I hope everyone had a long and relaxing weekend.  It was just what the doctor ordered!!  I posted last week about the class play details and all the parts.  Please make sure to go back and check it out.  Also, I would love to mention how important it is for all students to be present in school unless they are sick…and not checked out unless it’s very necessary.  We are practicing our play the last hour of the day, and we do it every single day until the performance.  I really appreciate your support with this!

Thank you all you helped with and donated food for the Multiplication Madness Celebration last week.  It was so much fun!!  Good job to all the friends that mastered all their facts too!!!

Important Upcoming Dates:

Yay! Play parts ANNOUNCED!!!

Parents, This is the BIG sneak peek for play parts for our class play. Here they are for you to see, so the students can be prepared. The students are super excited about the play. We will be working super hard to prepare for the big day. I encouraged the students to watch Alice in Wonderland (the movie) at home to see what the characters look like, so they can get ideas on creating their own costumes. Please help them start brainstorming what they will wear for the play. Costumes will be needed at school one week before the play for dress rehearsals. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks in advance for helping with everything!   Our class will be performing the actual play for parents and students on Tuesday, May 28th in the Q1 Gym from 2:00-3:00.  Please mark your calendars.
Our Dress Rehearsal will be on Friday, May 24rd at 8:45 in the Q1 gym if you can’t make it to the actual performance.
