I am super-excited to begin my fifth year teaching at Quest Academy! I will be teaching 8th-9th grade ELA, writing, and health.
I love to teach reading! It is definitely my favorite. Watching young students comprehend new ideas and achieve deeper, more encompassing perspectives is very rewarding. I also really enjoy creative writing and reading to write. I have a deep passion for literature and writing, as well as being physically, socially, and emotionally healthy! This is where the health side comes in!
Almost equal to my passion for reading and writing is a love of health, not just physical, but in all areas! I feel a great satisfaction when I know that I have helped students understand new and different aspects of what it means to be healthy.
My hobbies are: Hanging with with my four boys, running, reading, writing, hiking, playing games, sports, anything outdoors (warm weather outdoors!), and especially learning! Never stop learning!
