Writing the Right Way!

J71- When reading a book or watching a movie, how can you tell whether the story you are watching is fiction or non-fiction. (Contextual clues…)   J72- Discuss the saying: “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.” What does this saying mean? What is the significance behind it’s meaning?   J73- Write a short (1 page) autobiography.

J69- What was the most exciting/interesting thing you did over Spring Break? J70- What is the most interesting or surprising fact you learned about the Titanic as you conducted your research.

• It is suggested you cover at least three ideas associated with your topic.  It is required that you discuss your topic for 3-5 minutes.
• You visual must be a poster board or a PowerPoint/Keynote presentation , appropriate, associated with and supportive of  your topic, and be present when you present.
• You will give credit to your sources.
• If you have any questions or concerns, you will bring these to me ASAP.

Schedule:

• One class meeting to research .
• One class meeting to create your visual.
• One class meeting to share student presentations.
