Middle Schoo Prep is going to be a fun course. 6th grade can be very challenging. Students have the opportunity to move throughout the Jr. High building from class to class. Of course, remembering that lock combination and getting the lock back on the locker in order to get to the next class on time is a necessity. There are several expectations that are new in the Jr. High building, and this class will facilitate those changes and can be so helpful when a student becomes unsure.
In addition to logistics and expectations in the Jr. High, students will be learning and practicing every application in the Google Suite. Not only are they fun and useful, students will be using them this year and for the duration of Jr. High at Quest Academy. While using the Google Suite applications, 6th grade students will be practicing study skills – organization, note taking, test taking skills and more.
This course will prove to be valuable starting the first day of 6th grade and throughout 9th grade.
