homework week of January 19-22

Welcome back my favorite fourth graders! Since it is a short week you only have ONE Front Row Ed math assignment to do. It is #80. However, if you did not complete the work from last week, please do it. You might lose study hall on Friday and have to stay in to work on it if your math isn’t done. 🙁
Read 20 minutes per night.
Kiss your brain! (I will model on Tuesday! If you remind me!) 🙂

Homework January 11

Hello my awesome 4th graders.
This week you only need to do homework Monday – Wednesday. We do not have school Friday so you won’t need to do homework that day.
Read – 20 minutes
Math – Two math assignments are due on Front Row. The first one #05 is a review of last week. The other #06 is this week’s lesson we are learning.

Academics

There is something special about children learning. Here are a couple quick photos I snapped of students doing that very thing!IMG_0047 IMG_0048The first picture show two students during reading groups. The next photo shows a student’s interactive grammar notebook.

Pictures.

There are photos I realize I had and had forgotten (and ran out of time) to share them. On Veteran’s Day we had Mr. Stone (Mrs. Stone’s husband) come and visit what it’s like to be a Veteran. Mr. Stone spent 20 years in the US Air Force before retiring and becoming a teacher. He teaches resources classes at Quest over in Q2. He shared about his time in the service and his grandfather’s service time. His grandfather was awarded a Purple Heart.IMG_0044 Version 3Mr. Stone shares his shadow box and what some of the medals inside it mean.

Welcome back! & Homework!

Welcome back my favorite students! I am excited to see your bright, happy faces! I have missed you over Christmas break. I really hope you’ve done your reading for 20 minutes a night like I asked (that wasn’t homework, that’s just because you want to read!).

Math – go to Front Row Ed. I have given you 2 math assignments for the week. One is division and the other is about fractions. Just do these before the week is over. These are under “assignments.” From what I have heard you will need to possibly be on the internet to see these. It doesn’t work on the Front Row app.

WTW – No homework is complete without WTW!
