I sent home a book order last week. Today is the due date for that order! I will not send it off until tomorrow morning in case anyone needs to do a last minute order. Scholastic has really great books at a great price! I always love the $1 deals. They are really good at getting the books to us quickly also.

STEM supplies are needed for a STEM project we are doing this Friday. If you have any of these items to donate, please do so by Friday morning. You can just send them to school with your student! Thank you!

Homework this week will be online in the classroom again. No homework needs to be done at home. Homework will be on Google Classroom and on Front Row or Prodigy for math.
Remember to be writing your reading minutes on your reading log each night.

We are selling Cookie Dough to help fund awesome things for our awesome students! Proceeds from the cookie dough will help to fund school activities like clubs, sports, field day, field trips, library books, and more.

Parents,
I get it! It’s hard to keep kids in headphones. If your child does not have headphones I am giving you the weekend to get them. As the teacher, I cannot afford to buy headphones for all the students. Headphones are a personal use item. You can get a pair for around $7 at Wal Mart. I know these sometimes break and you might need to replace them through the year, but your kids NEED headphones. We are a technology school, and headphones are needed. I am giving you the weekend to get headphones for your child. If your child doesn’t have them Monday, I will be emailing you individually to remind you that they need some. If purchasing headphones is a financial hardship, please contact me. Thank you.

We are taking our first field trip on September 28th to This is the Place. We are sadly limited on the number of parents we can take on the trip. Please indicate on the form if you are interested and I will have a random drawing of interested parents and let you know soon if you are chosen (Please note: NO SIBLINGS are allowed to attend by request of This is the Place). Don’t worry as I am sure we will have other trips this year for you to attend.
We are asking for a $5 donation to help cover the cost of the trip.
Please sign the Google form giving your permission. If the form is signed early enough you have the option of getting your child’s lunch from the school. There will be an Uncrustable, choice of milk, and a few other options to go along with the sandwich.

If you did not purchase headphones for your student at the beginning of the year please do so. Headphones are not something I buy if students do not bring them as students have different preferences. Thank you and let me know if you have an issue providing headphones for your child.
