Homework for Sept. 26

Hello guys and gals! Remember to do homework on classroom google. The post below this one will remind you how to get on if you have forgotten, but so far you have not had problems in the room so I don’t expect problems outside of the room!

Remember go to go Front Row do assignment 33 and 37. If you have other assignments that are not done, do them or you will not get free time on Friday.

Here is your sort for the week and I will see you all in the classroom! Sort

Homework how to

Since we changed how to turn in our homework, I am going to tell you how it’s done just in case anyone forgot.
1. go to Classroom.google.com
This can be typed into the address bar. There are also links on the blog on the right hand side of the page, and on the homework tab.
2. Sign into your google account: firstname.lastname@qackids.org
example: kelly.stone@qackids.org
3. Password. This is the password you use to sign into the computer plus the words rams.
example: ks123rams
4. Once you are in classroom google, find the homework. It will probably be at the top of the page. Click on it.
5. It will load to another page that will show your name like this: 4kellystone. Click on that and it will open homework. Do the assignment for Monday.
Google is so awesome that you don’t even need to save. Repeat these steps for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Thursday you need to submit your homework. This can be found at the top right of the page. I found a picture that shows this. I did find one computer that didn’t show this and instead had two arrows like this: >>. When we clicked those arrows it loaded the menu that showed the “turn-in” button. If you accidentally turn in your assignment before then you can still get into it!
Super easy! Even better, it tells me who has done work and who has not! 🙂 Let me know if you have questions or problems and I will do my best to assist you!

Homework

The school bought a subscription to seesaw for us which was really nice of them but messed up our homework. We are going to finish out this week’s homework in class. We are going to move to classroom.google.com to do homework. The students have been on this site. They should know how to use it. So we will practice Wednesday, Thursday, (or Friday depending on field trip) and do our homework from classroom.classroom.

Speaking of the Field trip:
DRESS WARMLY
It will probably rain. We are still going. You may bring an umbrella but know that you will have to carry it. This is the Place has moved the activities that they can inside, and have given us a place to eat inside. I think we will still have a great time.

Refresher on homework

Here is how to sign in to your seesaw if you (or your parents) need to know.
1. Go to seesaw.me
2. I’m a student
3. Email/Google account
4. Student sign in with google
Your google account is firstname.lastname@qackids.org. For example mine would be kelly.stone@qackids.org
Your password is the same one you use to sign on to the computer: First initial, last initial, 3 numbers that only you know, and the word rams. For example mine would be like:
ks123rams

Field Trip

Parents,
Thank you so much for the great interest in our field trip. I am sad only three parents can attend. The random names chosen to attend are:
Leesa Blakely
Natalie Thomas
Julie Draper

Chaperones please pay your $3 admission fee to our office. If you change your mind or cannot go, please contact me immediately so I can choose another chaperone. Making sure the children are safe and make it to and back from the field trip is my #1 priority!
Parents who were not chosen: There will be more field trips this year where we can take all parents who would like to attend and I hope you will go with us at that time!
