Food in Class Permission Form

Dear Parents,
Our class will be participating in an “Inference Activity” within the next few weeks. We will be using food to help understand the inference used in videos/statements. Students will be given a few different food items during this activity. I would like to keep the foods secret from the kids, so it will be a surprise on the day we do the activity. FYI: There will be NO foods being given out with nuts.  Please submit the food permission for by Thursday the 29th.   If you have any questions about the food items, please contact me.

Directions: Always keep the homework organizer in your homework folder. Each day place a check in the box when you finish your homework. Have a parent initial the column and bring back this sheet every day in your homework folder. 

Students are required to read 20 minutes a day. Please record reading time on the attached document. It needs to handed in every Friday. Reading Log

Sort – SORT- No Peeking Sort  – Read the sort words to your child aloud (without showing them) and have them write them under the correct rule column with the correct spelling.

Thursday
Read for 20 minutes and record on reading log
SORT – Glue Sort – Glue down the rules and the sorts that follow those rule

Third Grade Dress Down Day Tomorrow!

Book Orders

Strawberry Ice Cream Help!

The third grade needs help!  Our class is assigned to bring the strawberry ice cream for our multiplication madness party on Thursday afternoon.  Our class is assigned to bring 10 half-gallons of strawberry ice cream.  So far only one parent has let me know that their child will bring ice cream tomorrow (Wednesday)  for our Thursday party.  Please help all of our hard working third graders by donating strawberry ice cream for our party.  Please email me if you will donate strawberry ice cream  Thanks for all of your support!!

Multiplication Madness Party!!

Next Thursday, the 15th, all of third grade will be having our multiplication madness party.  Our class is working on our multiplication facts and earning the parts of a banana split.  Please, please, please help your child with their multiplication facts.  

All third grade is going to be participating, so we have made assignments for each class, our class is going to be responsible for strawberry ice cream.   We need 10 half gallons of strawberry ice cream brought in on Wednesday, the 14th.  If you would like to donate a half gallon of ice cream, please email me or leave a comment.  Thank you so much for all of your support!!  Feel free to email me with questions or concerns.
