Looking Ahead…
Canned Food Drive:
The food drive is going on through Friday of this week. Please bring canned items only. We will be collecting the food in our classroom. The class who collects the most canned food items will win a prize from administration.

Student Treasures:
As I am sure many of you know, your child is writing a book, and will become a published author. Your child is writing a fractured fairytale, and their creativity and personality is shining through their writing. I am having such a fun time reading the books.

Student Treasures will print a soft paperback version of each child’s book, IF I receive a signed order form. However, Student Treasures WILL NOT PRINT your child’s book if you do not sign the form. Parents are welcome to order a book if you choose. Depending upon the book type you want to purchase, the prices range from $19.95-$27.95. All order forms are due back before, Thursday, November 2nd. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Halloween Costumes:
From Administration: “Please note that costumes should be modest and without blood or gore. Though students may paint their faces, masks and weapons are not allowed. Anything that depicts violence is banned (knives, guns, swords, spears, etc.). If you have questions about costume accessories, please contact us. Just to reiterate, no blood, either depicted on the costume or in makeup, is allowed.”

Parent Teacher Conferences:
Conferences will be on Tuesday, November 7th and Thursday, November 9th. Make sure to sign up for the day and time that works best for you. If you do not sign up for a conference Wednesday of this week, I will assign a day and time for us to meet.
