What we are learning…
-Math:
-I can divide a one digit divisor into a three digit dividend.
-I can divide a two digit divisor into a three digit dividend.
-Language Arts:
-I can create a singular and plural noun by adding the correct suffix.
-I can read a draft and make necessary changes to create a more meaningful piece of writing.
-I can reread a text and answer comprehension questions that come directly from the text.
-Science:
-I can identify the agents of chemical weathering: water, carbon dioxide, oxygen, plants, and animals.
-I can identify the effects erosion and glaciers have on the physical environment.
-I can identify the key elements of earthquakes and volcanoes.
-Writing:
-I can read a fairytale and look at the different components.
-I can envision changes to the fairytale and begin brainstorming ideas for my own fractured fairytale.
-I can identify and correct errors in my own writing, including: capital letters, spaces between words, punctuation, descriptive words, etc.

Homework
We will be studying Industrial Engineering next month with our STEM Project. We will be talking about the various responsibilities these men and women encounter on a daily basis. We are asking for parent donations of the following items to create a Balloon Powered Car. If you have any of the following items at home, and are willing to donate them, please have your child bring the items to school on or before Friday, October 6th.

Review for math assessments: 5.NBT.1, 5.NBT.2, 5.NBT.3. Math assessments will be taken Wednesday and Thursday of this week.

-Science: Students are taking their Science Test on Thursday.
