About Me

Hi! My name is Missy Warwood. I am the Functional Skills teacher again for the 2020-2021 school year. I am so excited to get to know these amazing students, most of which I already know and love them. I have a bachelors from Utah State University and I am currently working towards a second degree in Elementary and Special Education from Western Governors University. I have been in the Special Education world since my son was born 6 years ago. My son was born with Down syndrome that has brought him many challenges. But I would not change this journey for anything. I love to advocate for him and for any student I get the pleasure to work with. I have a very supportive and patient husband and, besides my 6 year old son, I also have a 9 year old daughter that also attends Quest. We have 2 dogs, a lot of chickens, ducks, turkeys and peacocks and live on a small farm in Hooper. I am a horticulturist by trade and I love anything that I can grow. Our main focus on our farm is vegetable production, especially ones that can be canned for future use. I have an addiction to canning and raising my own food. When I am not in my hoop house or garden, you will find me out talking to my chickens and ducks, playing volleyball in an old lady league, at the beach (as many times a year as I can get there), going to Disney, or spending time with my family.
