We are now beginning Unit 3 in Language Arts. Here are the sight words, oral vocabulary words, letters, and sounds we will be mastering during the next 3 weeks. 

1- WEDNESDAYS: Send take-home folders to school (please remove keep-at-home papers)

2- FRIDAY:  Early Out 1:00
 *Students are welcome to show their Quest pride by wearing their school spirit shirts (with uniform pants)

3- Please dress your child properly for the weather and LABEL belongings; sweaters, jackets, water bottles, etc. (especially Quest apparel, they all look the same) 

Upcoming Events:

Thanksgiving Break- No School, November 23-27

Our Halloween parade for our class will start at 11:15. We will go through the school and exit out the upper grade door. Then we will follow the yellow dot path back to our outdoor kindergarten doors. Please set up along the yellow dots of the map below for the best and safest viewing. We will return to our class and continue with our festivities. We will be doing a Halloween Bingo, decorating sugar cookies, coloring and cutting a Halloween mask, bowling, listening and dancing to Halloween music! I’m so excited to see all the fun costumes!

Please note that costumes should be modest and without blood or gore. Students may paint their faces or wear masks. Anything that depicts violence is banned (knives, guns, swords, spears, etc.). Just to reiterate, no blood, either depicted on the costume or in makeup, is allowed.

Thank you so much for working so hard on our cookie dough/beef jerky fundraiser! We hit our goal and more! Our pickup times are as follows: Monday October 26th 11-12:30pm and 2-6pm. Please make sure to pickup all orders as we have no way of keeping them refrigerated. Prizes have been ordered and will be distributed as soon as we receive them. Students did so well that many of the prizes are customized and require a bit more time to put together. Please be patient they are worth the wait.

Dollar dress down day will be Thursday, October 29th
