Next Week

As many of you already know I have been having some problems with my leg. For the past four weeks have been seeing the doctor to try and solve things non-surgically. Things have progressed beyond that point, and my doctor told me surgery is my only option for relief. So, I am going to have surgery tomorrow on my back. I am going to be gone Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of next week.

Our class will be in the very capable hands of Mrs. Maxfield, Mrs. Arrington (SPED Director), Mrs. Alexander (3rd Grade teacher), our SPED rover for a few hours, and a substitute teacher. Mrs. Maxfield will be with them the whole time and will be assisted by the other teachers mentioned  I have meticulously planned out my time so that we are right on track and progressing smoothly. I will be face timing with the class on a regular basis, I will even be teaching a few lessons from home! Isn’t technology is so great?!
I am so sad to leave our class even for a day, so this is going to be a challenge. Our class has been working hard and learning a ton these first few weeks of school. I am excited to see their progress when I return.

I will still be accessible through email or bloomz (if you have not signed up for bloomz, please do so) if there are any questions or concerns. Please understand that it may take me a little longer to respond. 🙂
