Scratch
Our Computer Programming Kids have been creating projects on Scratch!
With Scratch, you can program your own interactive stories, games, and animations — and share your creations with others in the online community.

Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively — essential skills for life in the 21st century. Here they are busy at work! Amazing things going on in our Q2 building!
Bright green Read-a-thon papers have been sent home!
These sponsor sheets (without money) need to be returned to our class by January 27th at the latest. If you bring the sponsor sheet back in time, you will receive a coupon to collect a charm. The coupon will be sent home, along with your sponsor sheet, on 1/31. Students will need to collect money and return the sponsor sheet and money to the school on February 5th.
The student who collects the most money will win a Kindle Fire! Our goal is to raise $7,000, which is only $10 of pledges per student.
On Read-A-Thon Day, students can read a classroom book or bring their own books.
What a fabulous way to earn money for our school! Encourage your student to READ and help Quest Academy out at the same time! Let’s all work together! We only need 10$ per student to reach our GOAL!

Don’t Forget to Support WSU!
In your child’s backpack you should have noticed a small purple card that is a VOUCHER GOOD FOR TWO COMPLEMENTARY TICKETS to a Men’s Basketball Game!
You should have also noticed a purple sheet with information about the WSU Jr. Cheer and Dance Clinic.
WHEN: Wednesday, January 15th from 6-8pm
WHERE: DEE EVENTS CENTER
WHO: Girls and Boys ages 3-16
COST: 25$ includes Pizza and T-Shirt
What I personally like about this Clinic, is that is only one night. Your child will learn their routine that night and be ready to perform it at Saturday’s Game. Some clinics have you bring your child to the clinic Monday-Thursday, which is hard because our kiddos are already busy with sports, piano, dance, tumbling and homework 😉
Dr. Dave Flipping for our Student Body
Way to go Dr. Dave!
Weber State Cheer and Athletes come to Quest to promote Reading!
We had a fabulous opportunity to have Weber State Cheer and Student Athletes come to our school for an assembly! They came to get our students pumped up to read and the importance of listening to their teacher and getting good grades! Our students had such a fabulous time! It was neat to have them speak on the importance of education and going to college!
