Sage Assessment System
We are starting to train our students on the New Sage Assessment System right now at Quest. It is a new tool that our state has chosen to use for our End of Level Assessments and next year it will be available to use throughout the year to show growth in our students from the beginning of the year to the end. We are excited for this new opportunity to show how our students shine! Please read the brochure if you want to learn more about this topic!

Just another reason why…
Don’t Forget to Support WSU!
In your child’s backpack you should have noticed a small purple card that is a VOUCHER GOOD FOR TWO COMPLEMENTARY TICKETS to a Men’s Basketball Game!
You should have also noticed a purple sheet with information about the WSU Jr. Cheer and Dance Clinic.
WHEN: Wednesday, January 15th from 6-8pm
WHERE: DEE EVENTS CENTER
WHO: Girls and Boys ages 3-16
COST: 25$ includes Pizza and T-Shirt
What I personally like about this Clinic, is that is only one night. Your child will learn their routine that night and be ready to perform it at Saturday’s Game. Some clinics have you bring your child to the clinic Monday-Thursday, which is hard because our kiddos are already busy with sports, piano, dance, tumbling and homework 😉
Have you completed your HOUR OF CODE?
Quest Academy participated in Hour of Code this past week! I am sure your children have been talking all about it! I know my First Grader has…He LOVED it and made sure I printed out his Certificate of Completion!
What is HOUR OF CODE?
What is Computer Science?
Computer science develops students’ computational and critical thinking skills and shows them how to create, not simply use, new technologies. This fundamental knowledge is needed to prepare students for the 21st century, regardless of their ultimate field of study or occupation.
Why is it important for students to learn about computer programming?
- Computer Science is a top paying college degree
- By 2020 there will be 1,000,000 more computer science jobs than there are students
- Without computer science not much works
- There will always be jobs for coders
- Solving problems is never boring
- Making. Really. Cool. Things!
