Wacky Hair Day Tomorrow!
A few kiddos asked about adding dye to their hair tomorrow. In the past they have been able to as long as it is completely washed out by the next day! Enjoy the craziness!

Library Day-Wednesday
Library books are due every Wednesday. Books must be returned before students are allowed to check out another book. Remember to record your weekly reading minutes for the Library Reading Challenge: Library Reading Minutes Log
Betsy Ross and Abraham Lincoln
We had TWO special guests come talk to us today. Betsy Ross and Abraham Lincoln stopped by and the kids learned a lot about these two American Heroes. Ask your child about them!

2. Don’t forget to go on and record your child’s reading minutes for our Library Reading Challenge. Many students are becoming sad when I don’t pass them out an airplane to color to hang up around the school. They ask why they don’t get one and I have to remind them to tell you parents to go on and record their minutes. Get in the habit of doing this weekly! Thanks!

VALENTINES DAY!
DON”T FORGET!
“Per Quest’s wellness policy, all food in the classroom must be preapproved. Furthermore, parental permission is also required for students to consume food during class parties. Due to this policy—as in years past—student Valentines cannot contain edible items. Suggestions for nonfood Valentines include pencils, erasers, bubbles, stickers, etc. Please note that such items, including Valentine cards, are in no way required.”
Student’s may make a Valentines box and bring tomorrow if not I will have brown sacks they can decorate and use for their box. The party is tomorrow from 1:30pm-2:45pm. We will be passing out Valentines in the morning.
