That’s Fruit?!

Fruit is defined differently depending on whether you’re a gardener or a chef.  It’s the part of the plant that contains mature seeds.  Can you spot the fruit on our Brassica Rapa plants?  We’ve observed cut cucumbers, tomatoes, apples, coconuts, & green beans and determined they are all technically fruit! 
So next time you want your kiddos to eat their green beans, you might try telling them to eat their fruit 🙂
