- Halloween party – Thursday, Oct. 31 from 11:45-12:45. *This is a short day.
- No School – Friday, Nov. 1 (Teacher work day)
- Parent Teacher Conferences Nov. 5, 7, & 8. Watch for sign-ups on bloomz beginning Wed. 10/23.

We will be solving 2 digit word problems with addition and subtraction. Please watch for the family letter and practice pages to come home. This is a standard that a lot of students struggle with. If you could talk about it at home, it would be greatly appreciated.
Reading Homework (optional, but highly encouraged!!)
Enjoy your time at home with your kids and continue to encourage them to read for enjoyment! You can even read to them!! 20 minutes a day is a great goal. They are welcome to complete the Reading log for October, and bring it back the first week of November for a prize. Please let me know if you have any questions.
