Parents,
Thank you so much for all the canned food donations! It is amazing to see so much generosity. On Monday, SEP forms will be coming home.  There will be information about your students DIBELS reading scores from the beginning of the year and the Math standards they have mastered so far.  We will be going over these things at conferences November 5 & 7. If you have not signed up yet, please do so on bloomz.

Halloween Parade and Party
The parade is from 9-10AM. Parents are welcome to watch in the Q2 Gym. Our class party will be from 11:45-12:50.  We will be decorating sugar cookies. Food permission slips for this were signed at the first of the school year. If anything has changed, please let me know.

Math in Class

We are still working on 2 digit word problems with addition and subtraction. Please watch for the family letter and practice pages to come home. This is a standard that a lot of students struggle with. If you could talk about it at home, it would be greatly appreciated.

Reading Homework (optional, but highly encouraged!!)
Enjoy your time at home with your kids and continue to encourage them to read for enjoyment! You can even read to them!! 20 minutes a day is a great goal. They are welcome to complete the Reading log for October, and bring it back the first week of November for a prize.  Please let me know if you have any questions.
