This Week
We are currently 2nd in the canned food drive.   As we have told the children, the most important thing is helping those who need help, but winning a $50 gift certificate to spend on our class would be really fun too!  Please look in your pantry, and food storage to see if there’s anything that you may have extra of, or items that will expire before you have the chance to use it.  Thank you for your support in helping us with the food drive.

Seesaw information will distributed at Parent Teacher Conferences.  We are all so excited to share what we have done in Seesaw!

Fieldtrip
The field trip is on Thursday.  If you have not paid your $4, please do so as soon as possible.  This helps pay for our entrance to the production and a small part of the buses.

Supplies
If you have not paid for your child’s beginning of the year school supplies, please pay your $20 as soon as possible.  These supplies came out of our pockets, and was as teachers, would really appreciate you paying for them.

Math
We have some exciting news that we will be sharing with you at conferences.  In the mean time, we will be continuing with perimeters of quadrilaterals, and composite shapes. We will also be reviewing quadrilaterals, rounding, addition and subtraction.

Homework
This week is a prodigy week.  A new Greg Tang Challenge for Thanksgiving will be coming next week.  We felt the Halloween challenge was very worthwhile and challenging, so we will participate again.

This week you only need to read for 20 minutes on the days you wake up!

Have A Great Week!
