Hello!,
We will be completing dibels reading next week. Please read, read and read with your child every night. I understand that there are nights when it is impossible to get 20 minutes of reading done so please read for any amount of time possible!

Thanks to all who participated in our can recycling! We were able to purchase 2 trees to plant in our playground area! Thanks to Country Garden Nursery for the discount!!!

We have a couple items we need to make all the parents of Quest Academy aware of.

First, it is time to submit nominations for the 2016-2017 POQA Board.  The following positions are open, President Elect, Secretary and Treasurer.  This is a great way to continue to make Quest the BEST!!!  If you would like to submit a nomination for yourself or nominate someone else, fill out the form located in the Q1 and Q2 offices and return it to Angelee in the Q1 office by Friday, April 29th.

Second, our school Carnival is going to be May 20th 5-8PM at the school.  Pre-sale tickets are on sale now at a discounted price. Please go to https://squareup.com/store/poqa to purchase pre-sell tickets.

Please don’ t forget tonight is Spirit Night at Chick-fil-a in Riverdale from 5-7PM.  Mention Quest Academy and they will donate 25% back to the school.  Please share this with family and friends.

Happy Monday!,

Welcome Back!,
There is lots of information so please read this entire post!

Your student will be bringing home his/her word sorts today. Some are still on the previous words and several have moved on. In order to eliminate confusion, I am sending the words home with your child. The words are difficult so please work with your student this week!

Dioramas are due on Monday, April 11th. We will be sharing them with the school on Thursday morning. You are invited to attend as your student presents from 9;00 to 10:30.

On Friday, April 15th we will be going to Wellsville for our field trip to American West Heritage Center. I have 7 students signed up for a school sack lunch. We need all orders in by Monday, April 11th, if you want to order and have not. Just let me know.
We have 11 parents who are signed up to attend. I will send more information to you at the end of the week. Also, any parent volunteers will need to pay $4 at the office to attend.

We will be finishing our aluminum can collecting on Friday of this week. So far we have raised $83 and have more cans to recycle. We are hoping to purchase 2 trees to plant on Earth Day. Thanks to all who have participated!

Happy Friday!
This coming Thursday is parent teacher conferences. Before I send out invitations to attend, I would love for any parents who would like to meet with me, to let me know. I will send out invites on Monday so please let me know by then if you would like to come in any time between 3:30 and 5:15.
