Halloween Party and PTC

We will be having our Halloween Party on Oct. 31st, 11:45 to 12:50! There will be a parade from 9:00 til 10:00 that parents are welcome to attend. Please spectate from the Q2 gym for the parade. Anyone wanting to help with the party is invited. We will be decorating cookies as one of our activities. Each of you has signed permission for your child to have a cookie. This was done on your disclosure for the school year. If this has changed, please let me know.
There is no school on Nov. 1st.

Watch for a parent teacher conference sign up link. It should be posted on Thursday. Parent conferences will be help Nov. 5th and 7th. Flu shots will be offered, at the school, during parent conferences.

Canned Food Drive/Dress Down Days

We will be having dress down days tomorrow, Oct. 11, Tuesday, Oct. 15th and Friday, Oct. 25th in exchange for 3 cans of nonperishable food items for our canned food drive. Please have your student bring the canned food items to their classroom so that we can count them and get credit for the contest!

Canned Food Drive

Bugs Bunny said it best. We need your help!

We are doing a canned food drive. This drive is not only to help provide food for those in need in our community, but also to help raise money for Quest. We compete with local educators in collecting food for the Besst Realty 7th annual food drive. The school that raises the most food for the local food bank will receive:

1st : $5000

2nd: $4000

3rd : $3000

4th-6th : $1,500

11th & up: $500

We have been fortunate enough over the last few years to obtain a $5000 prize. This money goes right back to our kids and our programs. YEAH!

To help get kids excited, we need to talk about it and get them in the giving mood.

The grade that collects the most donations will be treated to an activity with DART SIDE. The Elementary School will win an activity and the Jr. High will win an activity.

The competition will be between K – 5th graders for the elementary and 6th through 9th grade for the Jr High School.

We can do this. Let’s go collect those cans.
