Library Tomorrow

Owl On Books
Library books are due every Thursday morning.

Checking out books from our school library is a privilege.

To check out books students are expected to:

1- Follow the library rules (be respectful, follow directions, use a library voice, etc.)

2- Return library books (no outstanding books)

3- Select a book during the allotted time

Library day is tomorrow Thursday, JANUARY 16th. Please have your student come prepared to turn in their library book. Last week there were quite a few students who forget their library book and were unable to check out a new book.

Please help your student(s) come to school prepared and ready to go by, getting a good night sleep and, eating a good breakfast. Having your student(s) to school on time will also help. It gives students a chance to play and  “Chill Out” with friends before taking their tests. We will be giving the kids a snack to help them gear up for testing success! Please remind your student to take their time and to just do their very best.

We are excited for our upcoming 1st Grade field trip to the Hill Aerospace Museum on Friday, May 24th. And our in-school field trip with Ogden Nature Center on Tuesday, May 28th.  For more information and to provide permission for your student to participate, click here: Field Trip Permission Form

We will be leaving the school promptly at 9:30am directly after the year end talent show and returning to the school by 1:15pm.  If you are able to chaperone the field trip please email Mrs. Nelson asap to get on the list-and if you signed up at the beginning of the year to chaperone this field please also email Mrs. Nelson. Just a note to say THANK YOU!

    Parents,

In the 3 years I have been teaching I had yet to cry in the classroom until today. Your sweet children gave me the most precious notes and more hugs than I can count. I walked in at the end of my morning to say hi and tell them I will still be around and in less than 2 minutes I was in tears. I just want you to know I love your children and not finishing out the year with them is going to be tough, but like I told them I will still be around. Mrs. Nelson and I plan to do a few things together so I can still see them.

Thank you for an amazing year and for sharing them with me. I have passed everything along to Mrs. Nelson and she knows where your students are at. She will pick up right where I left on in math and I will continue to work close with her. Thanks again!

    Mrs. Bischoff
