Halloween Parade and Party (Friday, Oct. 31)

The Halloween Parade Starts at 9:00 and parents are welcome to watch the parade as students walk through the Q2 gym.

We are having a Halloween Party from 11:30am – 1255pm. If you didn’t sign up to help, but would still like to volunteer, please let me and Natalie Galt (801) 336-7554 know. Permission slips went home last week with the students.  Please get them returned as soon as possible.  We are also asking for a $2 donation per child to help pay for the party.  Parents are providing some games, a craft, snack, candies, cookie decorating, etc, and it’s always nice to have extra hands :) I will be sending permission slips home on Monday to those students who have not returned them to me.

THANKS for all of your help!

The following parents signed up to volunteer for the Halloween Party: Jeanie Allmon, Amy Fisher, Chasity Smith, Dustin Munford, and Cynthia Purser.

Opera Writing and donations

Our drama mentor from Opera by Children came and assisted our class in writing our first grade opera.  The students decided on a forest/wooded setting, with bats, bears, tigers and children as their characters.  If any of you would like to purchase anything during the Halloween season and donate it to our opera we would be very appreciative.  Enjoy your fall break!

Classroom Volunteers

Thank you so very much for signing up to volunteer for our wonderful little children. Please look through the volunteer list and let me know if you need to make a few changes. You can email me.
We will start our Volunteer on Monday: September 15th, 2014

We are all looking forward to working together with you wonderful parents! If you cannot come in and help this week, please feel free to join us next week.

Party date will be discussed with teachers of winning grade. As a reminder for those with more than one child attending Quest Academy “please put everything that you have collected into a Ziploc bag and write each of your children’s names and teacher on the front. Everything that is counted in the bag will be put towards each student evenly. Example: If we count 256 total in the bag, each child would get 256 for their grade. This should make it easier on parents so they don’t have to divide up everything among their children.” Thanks again for all your support The 2014-2015 Collections Committee.
