Our Hogle Zoo Field Trip is nearly here, TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 18th. Here are a few things to know before we go:1- We are still accepting field trips donations at the Q1 office, suggested donation $18.00 for school year. We greatly appreciate anything that you can donate for our trip. Thank you for your generosity!
2- Wear school uniform with RED shirt, sunscreen and good walking shoes! Please dress for the weather.
3- Bring a cold sack lunch from home in a disposable bag with your child’s name. (Unless you pre-ordered a school sack lunch).
4- Be on time. Arrive at school by 8:30am. Bus departs at 8:45am. We will leave the zoo around 1:00-1:15pm, returning to Quest around 2:00 or 2:30pm.
5- Parent chaperones: Please bring a backpack or bag to carry the lunches of the students in your group. And a lunch for yourself. We are planning on the 11 volunteers as chaperones that confirmed with me. Please be prepared to pay for yourself and any extra children you bring (2 and younger are free). For those of you not listed as chaperones on the Zoo Group form attached below, please feel free to join your students group and assist with chaperoning, be prepared to pay for yourself. (Les Schwab is listed as having discount tickets according to the Hogle Zoo’s website and I will stop by both the Roy and Clinton locations and get some discount coupons for entrance for those parents needing to pay their admissions so they can get in at a discount from regular admission). For those driving, plan on meeting us at the front of the zoo at 9:45am. The zoo address is 2600 E. Sunnyside Avenue, Salt Lake, UT, 84108.
