4- If you signed up to volunteer for our Winter Party on Friday, we are looking forward to having the extra hands to help the first graders with a craft.   We will begin at 11:30 and go until school is dismissed at 1:00.  Thank you so much for being willing to help!

americas-heroesThis year we will be learning about many of our great American Heroes.  We would like to invite those interested to come dressed as one of the characters and share their story with our students. Presenters will visit each 1st grade class for 7-10 minutes.  

We hope to help our students create a memorable connection to history and understand the impact these instrumental people had upon our country.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Our parent-teacher conferences this month are on Tuesday, December 13th during our STEM Lab time.  Below is the schedule for conferences.  We have one more time slot available, if you would like the 9:45am time slot to discuss your child, please e-mail Mrs. Nelson at anelson@questac.org.

American Heros

Winter Party

Pg58d_colorOn Friday, December 16th we will have our First Grade Winter Party 11:30am-12:50pm.  Please complete the following online yearly permission form if you have not yet, located below:
FIRST GRADE YEARLY ACTIVITIES PERMISSION
There are three holiday parties this year; Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine’s, 100th day, and year end activities. We are requesting a $3.00 donation for each party to help with the associated costs.  If possible, you may donate $12.00 for all the holiday parties in one lump sum.  If you prefer you may donate $3.00 at the time of each party.  Thank you for your generous donations!

Our room has been designated as the game room.  We plan on 3 different activities and rotating throughout the classroom.  If you could help during this party please email Mrs. Nelson and let her know.  Thank you for being so wonderful!
