This past Friday, I sent home passages with the students to practice with. It is so important to read every day and ask your student to retell you in sequence what happened in the story in their own words.

There are 26 students in our class.

If you plan on sending Valentine’s with your child, please DO NOT write who the Valentine is TO, just who it is FROM. You may attach a store bought treat if you would like. Your child will not be able to open/eat any of the Valentine’s while at school. We will be making Valentine Bags at school for your child to collect their Valentine’s in. No need to send a box from home.

I am looking for 3-4 parents to help with our Valentine’s day party. The party will be from 2-3pm. If you can assist with the party, please email me at anelson@questac.org. I am in need of 2 parents to bring and run 1 game each, 1 parent to help with decorating cookies, and 1 parent to bring and run a small art/craft. The party will run in small group rotations.

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday, January 31  and Thursday, February 1.  Please note: These will be early out days (1:20pm) and there will be no school on Friday (February 2).

Your child has a special presentation to share with you. Please select the date and time that is most convenient for you and your child to attend together. Your student needs to be with you as they will be presenting to you.
