Halloween Party and Permission Slip:

Dear Parents and Students –
Halloween is almost upon us. I had a lot of parents willing to donate items to our party. The specifics are on this permission slip for you to sign up on. Please read it carefully, it is not just a food permission slip, it is also the donation sign up and volunteer sign up. I love how Quest celebrates Halloween… help us keep this tradition by following the rules in place, No masks, blood, or weapons. If you have any questions; contact the office for specifics. 
The parade will start at 9 and end around 10 am. That is when we will start our party. It is just individual classrooms this year, where we are so separated. Our class will be doing treats, scary stories, and a movie. Recess and Lunch will be at the same time Noon to 1 pm, REMEMBER Halloween is a short day and November 1 there is no school for students.

Hi - My name is Mrs. Young. I am excited to start a new adventure teaching at Quest Academy. I have taught previously in Weber School District in 2, 3, 4, and 6th grades. This will be the start of my 13 year. I also taught in Ogden District, before receiving my Bachelor's of Science, in special education preschool and long term subbing for math in the Jr. High Schools. My hobbies are my family!!! AND singing and acting. I have always loved art and theater. I hope to incorporate art into the technology and science to help our young minds expand to new measures. My family has been part of the education system since I was born. I have always been taught to have a passion for learning and growing. I am very excited to help my students this year to achieve all their goals and never stop fulfilling their passions in life. Welcome to 5th GRADE!!!
