The Night the Bed Fell

My 7th-grade students are starting a unit in which they will read and analyze some humorous/creative essays and short stories.  The first humorous essay we will be reading is one of my favorites.  It is titled The Night the Bed Fell by James Thurber.  The first document below lists the vocabulary we have gone over before reading the story.  The second document is the full text of the humorous essay; I must warn you, however, that there are some typos in this document I found–sorry!
