Spelling

I have received some emails about spelling this year.  Let me see if I can help clear up the confusion.

I will introduce the spelling pattern at the beginning of the week to the class.  During the week, we will do different practices almost every day to reinforce that spelling pattern.  Our spelling test will test on whether the students know the spelling pattern, which means there are no words to memorize for the spelling test.

The parents and students are not required to come up with a list of words at home.  The spelling pattern and some example words are posted on the blog so parents are informed of what we will be working on in spelling for the week.
