Writing Journals 1-4

DW1- The thing I love doing the most is… Because… (Use THREE unique descriptive words.)

DW2- Describe your most valuable possession. DETAILS!

DW3- If you were chosen to escort a visiting alien on a tour of your community, where would you take him/her? Sequential order of events. Use at least 5 time transition words/phrases. Underline transition words.

DW4- “It started out as a normal day, but then…”  Finish! MAKE IT GOOD!!!! 🙂

Utah Compose: “Home School” Essay

Go to:  http://utahcompose.com/

Then choose the CREATIVE WRITING class you are in. There will be a prompt titled “Home School” activated.

Choose that prompt and then thoroughly read it. When you are ready to begin you will go to ‘organizer’ and choose the Argumentative Writing Map for your brainstorming.

Please put AT LEAST 10-15 minutes towards brainstorming in order to ensure more clear, well thought out ideas and better organization!

When you are finished brainstorming, begin writing your essay. Must be 5 paragraphs.
