Positive Me Week will be October 31st – November 4th . The spirit days are as follows:

Monday – Scare drugs away! *Wear your costume

Tuesday – Dress like someone who doesn’t do drugs! *Twin day (twin with a friend,

teacher, celebrity, etc.)

Wednesday – Drugs are wacky, so don’t do them! *Wacky hair day

Thursday – Drugs are so in the past! *Throwback Thursday (decades dress)

Friday – Don’t fall for drugs! *Wear flannel day

Happy Halloween! We are excited for our annual Halloween Parade that will take place on Monday, October 31^st (please note that this day is a short day). Because the parade will start at 9:00am, we ask that students come to school already dressed in their costumes. For those who would like to watch the parade, please plan on bringing camping chairs or blankets. You are welcome to set them up along the outside of either building (see attached map—the yellow dots indicate where families can sit). Though Q2 students are welcome to dress up, their participation in the parade will be limited to watching the elementary students. 

Costume guidelines:

Costumes should be modest and without blood or gore. Students are welcome to paint their faces and wear Halloween masks; however, those masks will only be worn when directed to do so by the classroom teacher (e.g. during the parade, when a class picture is taken, etc). Weapons and anything that depicts violence are not allowed on school property (knives, guns, swords, spears, etc.). If you have questions about costume accessories, please contact us. Just to reiterate, no blood, either depicted on the costume or in makeup, is allowed.

Quest Administration

The class Halloween party will be held Monday October 31st from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm. The students will be helping to make a cupcake spider and will need your permission to make and eat the treat during the Halloween Party. Please use the link to give permission on the google form below.

Our National Junior Honor Society has partnered with Catholic Community Services for a food drive and we will be adding two additional dress down days this month to raise funds for this effort.

Service project dress down days-

Monday, October 24, and Wednesday, October 26. Five cans of food are required to dress down. Previous dress down payments WILL NOT apply here. 

If you are having your child have pictures on Wednesday October 5th, please send me an email so I can make sure to send them down for the retake.
