Halloween Parade

For our face to face students the Halloween morning parade will begin at 9am on Friday, October 30th. An email was sent out by administration showing the route and the yellow dots mark seating spots that are social distanced. Attached below is a copy of the map showing the route and where to sit.

We have made it to week four of school, I have enjoyed getting to know each one of my students and their unique personalities. We have been able to get to know each other well and we have a great class. The kiddos have done great with the smart start curriculum and we will start our yearly curriculum this week. You can look to the blog for current spelling words we are working on and vocabulary words as well as the family math letter. If you would like to submit a scholastic book order go to parent information and click on Scholastic and it will guide you through online ordering, our class code is PQC76. I am also working on getting a google classroom set up where we can have better access to worksheets and information for our e-learners. Thanks so much for all your kind words and support so far this year.

Flu Clinic!

Though parents have been allowed to drop their young students off these past few days, we now ask that students enter the building without adult assistance. Parents of kindergarten students are still welcome to enter the building so their child can be assessed by their teacher. Elementary students should enter the building through the front doors and then go out back through the recess doors. They could also go through the gate between the two buildings to access the back of the school. When the bell rings, they’ll line up as they’ve been taught. Thanks for your understanding in this matter as we try to mitigate student and staff exposure.
