State Tourism Project

This project will consist of three parts:
1.  An opinion/persuasive essay convincing readers to visit your state.

2.  A state float, featuring the highlights of your state.
californai float New Hampshire float oregon float state float instructions3.  Tourism video.  Using imovie (in class) create a short video convincing your audience to visit your state.  Your video should feature the more popular tourist attractions as well as some state symbols. 🙂 (see student example)

Don’t forget your Valentine Boxes!

I left early today and forgot to remind the students to bring their Valentine’s Day boxes tomorrow.
I still don’t know exactly what we will be doing but more than likely, we will just chill, play games, listen to music and pass out Valentines.  I will be passing out “Fun Dip” candy so I hope that is all right.  If not, please feel free to let me know. 🙂
